Eligibility Criteria for RWF Apprentice 2026

Educational Qualification

Must have passed 10th Class / Matriculation with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board.

Must possess a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the relevant trade issued by NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training).

However, wards of serving Railway employees are exempted from Employment Exchange registration if their application is forwarded through proper channel.
Stipend Details
Selected apprentices will receive monthly stipend as per government norms:

The training period is:

Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be purely merit-based.
Merit List Preparation

Based on percentage of marks obtained in 10th class (minimum 50% required).

Tie-Breaking Rule
If two candidates have equal marks:

Candidate older in age will be preferred.

Medical Fitness Requirement
