| Constable (Driver) | 10th class pass from a recognised Board and must possess valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License. Age: 18-27 years. Male only. |
| Constable (Gardener, Water Carrier, Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Waiter) | Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised board with two years work experience in respective trade; OR one year certificate course from recognised ITI with at least one year experience; OR two years Diploma from recognised ITI. Must qualify trade test. Age: 18-23 years. |

SSB Constable Recruitment 2026 for 827 posts including Veterinary, Driver, Gardener, Water Carrier, Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Waiter, Carpenter and Nursing Orderly in Group-C Non-Gazetted (Combatised) & Non-Ministerial category under Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. Posts are temporary but likely to continue. Selected candidates are liable to serve anywhere in India or outside India.
Written Exam: Computer Based Test (CBT) of 2 hours, 100 marks, 100 MCQs on General Knowledge, Mathematics, Reasoning & General English/Hindi. Minimum qualifying marks: 50% for UR/EWS/OBC/Ex-Servicemen; 45% for SC & ST.
Note: A candidate can apply for only one post. 10% vacancies are reserved for Ex-Servicemen.
